Who We Are
Koltara is a Madison-based real estate development firm focused on multifamily and mixed-use communities across Dane County and South-Central Wisconsin.
We create value at the front end of development: sourcing sites, controlling land, and securing entitlements and approvals. We co-develop with established building partners who lead design, construction, and operations, and we stay invested as a sponsor for the long term.

Meet Our Founder
Craig Koltes founded Koltara after a career in project management and software engineering, bringing a systems-driven, technology-first approach to land sourcing and underwriting. He has sponsored and co-developed over $33 million in multifamily projects across the region.
